This is part of my Normandy terrain I created last year.  It is 6x8, and is made up of 12 2x2 sections with two inter changable sections.  The buildings are from Raventhorpe, and Hovels.

The two center pieces that look like open fields can be substituted for an entrenched artillery position, and the later field is a anti aircraft position.  There are three gun pits, and a command center that are all connected.

A War Gamer's Guide to teaching History

I have been teaching history since 1993 at the community college and university level, and I've used my models and game scenarios as visual aids to assist my lectures on histoical subjects that vary from Ancient History to the present day.  I have a war gaming collection in 20 and 25 mm scale and includes, (25mm) Normans, Anglo-Saxons, French Foreign Legion, Tuaregs, Darkest Africa, the Boxer Rebellion, the Irish War of Independence, and WWII in the Southwest Pacific.

In 20mm, I have vehicles and figures representing the Irish War of Independence (1919-1922), Europe in 1940, North Africa (1941-43), Russia (1941-45), the Middle East (Iraq), the Far East (1941-45), the Pacific theater (1941-1945), Italy (1943-45), France (1944) and Germany (1945).  In post WWII, I have a collection of Rhodesians and ZAPU, for African Wars; the British Army, the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) and IRA for Northern Ireland's "The Troubles", and present day conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
